Minga's impact, both locally and globally, is due to our unique three-pronged approach: radio programs, empowerment training, and income-generating green projects.
Radio for social change
For 25 years, our intercultural radio program "Bienvenida Salud" has reached more than 120,000 listeners in seven Amazonian Indigenous languages and Spanish, offering vital information, fostering dialogue, and promoting human rights and gender equality. It is a unique space where communities share their stories, challenges, and solutions.

Leadership training
We invite our most committed listeners to train as "Community Promoters" through an intensive three-year program. They develop skills in communication, leadership, human rights, sexual and reproductive health, project management, and environmental sustainability, becoming agents of change in their own communities.

Climate resilience
We promote family and community projects that generate sustainable income while protecting the Amazonian environment. This includes initiatives in agroforestry, fish farming, natural resource management, and the promotion of climate-resilient agricultural practices, while also training young people committed to conservation.

FICE – TRAINING PROGRAM IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
The success and innovative methodology of Minga's work in Peru have made it a regional and global leader in strategic communication for social change. We share our model and experience with other organizations, strengthening networks and amplifying our impact beyond the Amazon.
Interwoven throughout these programs is a strong emphasis on promoting and preserving Indigenous cultural identity, recognizing its intrinsic value and fundamental role in sustainable and equitable development.
